CARE 101: Student-Centered Relationship Building (Monday, February 23, 2026 @7pm)

Description

Student-Centered Relationship Building of the C.A.R.E. TRIO Student Services Academy equips TRIO professionals with the tools to build authentic, trust-centered relationships that drive retention and student success. Participants will strengthen rapport-building skills, recognize early signs of disengagement, and apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive communication strategies aligned with Title VI, ADA Section 504, and institutional policies. Through hands-on practice, engagement planning, and practical job aids, this session empowers staff to create meaningful connections that reduce barriers and transform student outcomes.
