Financial Wellness & Resource Coaching equips TRIO professionals with the tools to address the financial barriers that often derail student persistence. Participants will explore the financial realities facing low-income and first-generation students, master evidence-based coaching strategies and budgeting tools, and build systematic referral protocols for emergency aid, housing support, and complex financial aid situations. Grounded in TRIO statutory requirements, EDGAR cost principles, and FERPA confidentiality standards, this hands-on session provides practical templates and compliant documentation methods to strengthen student stability, retention, and long-term success.
