CARE 101: Fair + Inclusive Student Coaching (Monday, March 16, 2026 @3pm EST)

Description

Fair & Inclusive Student Coaching  equips TRIO professionals with the skills to coach students through an equity-centered, culturally responsive lens. Participants will learn to identify student needs tied to belonging and lived experience, use stereotype-free supportive language, avoid common communication pitfalls, and implement structured approaches to help students manage academic and social stress. Grounded in Title VI, ADA Section 504, and FERPA protections, this hands-on session strengthens trust, builds resilience, and advances retention through fair, inclusive coaching practices.
