About This Course

CARE-101: Foundations of Coaching, Advising, Retention, and Student Engagement in TRIO provides a comprehensive introduction to student-centered advising and support practices that drive persistence, academic achievement, and postsecondary success within TRIO programs. Rooted in equity-minded and strengths-based frameworks, this course equips participants with the foundational skills necessary to effectively support diverse student populations across TRIO program contexts.
